Yamaha YZR-M1 '09 & Rider Figure Coming This September.
The Yamaha YZR-M1 which Valentino Rossi rode to the MotoGP class championship in 2009 will be available in September as a Tamiya 1/12 Scale Motorcycle Series Model. During the season, he also achieved his 100th victory, which helped Yamaha to claim the triple crown of Rider, Team, and Manufacturer championships.

This is the first assembly kit of the 800cc MotoGP bike and all the parts are newly designed. The mechanisms of the bike, including the frame, suspension, and inline 4-cylinder engine, have all been accurately reproduced. In addition, each cowling can be removed even after assembly and the tank cowling features the same partition as that on the actual bike. 2 types of markings are included to depict the No.46 bike ridden by V. Rossi and No.99 bike ridden by J. Lorenzo.

Furthermore, fans can look forward to a highly-detailed rider figure, currently under development, which reproduces Valentino Rossi's riding form and can be displayed with the bike model in cornering stance. Keep your eye on this site for the latest updates regarding this exciting product!
